Can I submit my logbook in blocks?
While you can submit your logbook per block, you will only receive the Faculty Certificate once you have completed all the blocks that you are undertaking. It is recommended to submit your logbook in one submission when all the necessary blocks have been completed.
Once you submit your logbook with all the blocks, and it has been successfully reviewed, you will be awarded with a Faculty Certificate.
If you would like to complete further Abortion Care SSM blocks after receiving your Faculty Certificate, you will need to apply and pay the registration fee again.
Can I change the blocks being undertaken after applying?
Yes. Please contact the Education Development Officer, Rhian Jones, at rjones@fsrh.org to make amendments to your block selection.
Are any of the training blocks mandatory?
None of the Abortion Care SSM blocks are mandatory. They can also be taken in whichever order is preferred. The only mandatory aspect of the SSM is the completion of Abortion e-Learning theory course, which needs to be done with at least one of the practical training blocks.
