The following is an estimate of the trainer to candidate contact time required for the MCPD training and assessment activities. Please note that not all these activities will be delivered by the Principal Trainer and this list does not include time spent observing or in clinics.
- Planning and informal discussions = 2 hours
- 8 x Case-Based Discussions = 2 hours
- Interim Review Meeting = 1 hour
- Individual Learning Portfolio discussion and assessment = 4 hours
- Discussion of Clinical Evidence Submissions = 2 hours
- Discussion of project = 2 hours
- Completion Review Meeting = 2 hours
