Q. I’m a Faculty Registered Trainer for the DFSRH and the LoCs. Could I deliver menopause care programmes too? Also how do I how do I access the information I need to make a decision on whether to commit to this or not?

A: You can find more information about the all of our Menopause Care Qualifications course on our website, including a guide to becoming a course facilitator. You can find out some more information about our Menopause Care Professional Certificate, and being a Principal Trainer on our website including a guide to being a Principal Trainer.

Q. I’m already a registered menopause care SSM Principal Trainer. Do I have to reapply to be a trainer on the Menopause Care Professional Certificate and the Menopause Care Professional Diploma?

A: No, if you have previously been accepted as a Menopause Care SSM Principal Trainer you will automatically be transferred to the list of MCPC and MCPD Principal Trainers. If you’re not sure you’re currently listed as a trainer, please contact us at support@fsrh.org

Q: I used to be a registered menopause care SSM Principal Trainer but have lapsed. I’m interested in delivering the Menopause Care Professional Certificate (MCPC) and possibly the Menopause Care Professional Diploma (MCPD) too. What do I have to do?

A: We’ll be contacting trainers that have lapsed in the last 3 years, to see if they’re interested in re-registering. We'll be in touch soon.

Q:I’m a registered Menopause Care Principal Trainer with the FSRH and also a trainer with the British Menopause Society (BMS). Does this impact my training status with the BMS?

A: If you are already recognised by the BMS as a trainer these changes should not impact your trainer status. We have shared our new Principal Trainer requirements with the BMS to determine if they are happy to recognise FSRH trainer status going forward as part of their application process.
