I am a nurse and have a ‘local’ LARC accreditation for SDI/IUT. How can I ‘recertify’ and ensure this is up to date?

If you have undertaken training with another provider, and your initial qualification was not awarded by FSRH we are not able to recertify this for you.  However, there is a shortened pathway (less observed procedures) to achieving the Letters of Competence in Intrauterine Techniques and/or Subdermal Contraceptive Implant Techniques which takes into account past clinical experience. However, all parts of the programmes (including passing the OTA) need to be completed.

You can read more about that on the following links, LoC IUT and LoC SDI.
