What is considered in the application process for the CSRH training programme?

Upon application via NHS Education England (East of England), suitability for the CSRH training programme is assessed through the below:

  • Successful completion of a Foundation year medical programme
  • Good standing with the GMC/registered to work in the UK
  • Multi-Specialty Recruitment Assessment (MSRA) scores - questions aim to assess situational judgement, clinical reasoning, and a basic level of specialty specific knowledge.

In addition to the MSRA and candidate eligibility, The CSRH interview process aims to assess a candidate’s general professional capabilities such as team working, data handling, communication, and SRH interest.
