How do I recertify my Diploma (DFSRH)?

Modified on Mon, 22 Jan 2024 at 11:37 AM

If you are applying for you recertification on time.
This is not more than six months before your recertification date and no later than six weeks afterwards.

To apply successfully for recertification, you need to demonstrate:

  1. be registered with an FSRH recognised regulatory body (see the website for the most up to date list)
  2. have achieved 10 CPD credits over a 5-year period.
    • We recommend that you aim to achieve 2 credits each year, covering a range of topics that relate to the DFSRH 2020 learning outcomes.
  3. re-confirm you have read and abide by our Personal Beliefs Guidance.

If you are more than six weeks late for your recertification date.

If you apply for Diploma recertification more than six weeks after your recertification date, you must take an extra five CPD credits to cover the time lapse.

This brings your total CPD requirement to 15 credits.

Please note that you can only do this once. Applying late for recertification a second time, or having a gap of 10 years or more, means that you must retake the full Diploma training programme.
